Zimmer Nr. 2: Passage is thinking about the juncture of the single impulse directions of the image layers. I want to create a context in which object, painting and spectator operate as trigger and recipient at the same time. The „wall paintings“ are conceived according to the architecture of each exhibition space. When I showed an excerpt at the beginning of this series (M+R Fricke Gallery, Berlin 2013) I chose additional paintings that referred more to found objects. During the process I decided to erase the motif entirely and focus on the pure painted gesture and the materiality of the canvas.
